Behold. An early '50s Martin D-28 for your consideration. Overall this is in pretty good condition for it's age. There are some minor dings and scratches on the lower bout, but this doesn't change the fact that this guitar is a tone monster! You can't deny it's vintage appeal and no guitar made today sounds like it. Looking at wondrous grain of the Brazilian Rosewood you'll see signs of a repair. At some stage during it's storied career there was an input jack mounted into the back of the guitar. These holes have been refilled cleanly and the area has been refinished in gloss. The neck displays a small worn spot behind the 3rd fret, possible from a capo. The bridge has some fine cracking and the saddle is sitting pretty low. In saying this the guitar plays comfortably and it's next owner will use their discretion as to what needs doing.
The guitar is also fitted with a K&K style pickup and comes with a period correct hard case, potentially the original.
A great vintage example of classic guitar from Martin.
