Made a Huge Difference to Tone

I replaced some wooden pins in a Parlour guitar that I found had a boxy muted sound. The difference was night and day, a lot brighter and more open sounding!

Perfect for my guitar

I have tried a lot of different strings on my Martin 000-18 and never been sold 100% until i put these on, beautiful tone that really let the guitar sound natural and not muddied with overtones like a PB string can cause. Will be sticking with these from now on, the string experimenting is complete.

Perfect tuner

Great tuner, simple and easy to use, accurate and and intuitive.

Beautiful, well made strap

Love this strap, lovely design and is well made. The leather is nice and high-quality and love that it's made in NZ.

Good product & good service!👍

Love the 00-12

I'm the lucky beggar that has purchased this awesome guitar. David Benavides is making amazing instruments. I have never felt a guitar so much before in my life. The whole guitar comes alive. I can feel it vibrating in my chest, hands , arms and legs. Even the neck is vibrating under my left hand. This wont be my last Benavides! Do yourself a favor and get your hands on one and give a blast, it will surprise you.

Thanks Ed, you were wonderful to deal with and what an awesome shop. Really good vibe

Thanks Bruce.

Lovely craftsmanship - great service

Bought this beautiful strap for a friend's birthday. He was delighted with the look and the craftsmanship. Service from Studio 1 was excellent, shipping the belt to the UK very quickly to make sure I had it for the big day. Great job guys - thank you!

Martin strings

This is the second set of Martin strings that I have ordered and like them very much. They give my guitar a great sound and last for a reasonable length of time.
I am very pleased with them.

Optima VintageFlex Vs Thomastik Plectrum's

Due to recent shortages in Plectrum strings I have had to look for a similar Low Tension string for a Vintage guitar with no truss rod. A modified '63 Yamaha No.10 all wood.
I have found the Optima's to be a great replacement as they have a soft feel and good mid to high range tones. As the guitar has a lot of bass, it was good to get a little more brightness down low with the thinner E, A strings. My only thought is the Optima's are slightly noisy on the wound strings.
The guitar has settled into them nicely, and they are showing little to no signs of being played are several weeks of daily playing as I have experienced a lot of finger marks on the Plectrum bass strings.
All said and done, I am happy to stay with the Optima VintageFlex Acoustic strings.

Best strings I've tried

I'm very impressed by these strings. I don't think I'll buy anything else going forward as they're so good, and so balanced.
Great service from Studio1 Vintage too--thanks team

Awesome pic

Love it . Makes my D-28 sing

Martin kovar guitar strings

I tried these strings for the first time. Very impressed. Excellent tone and volume. No milky feel like strings from other main brand. I recommend them.

Drill peg winder

All good does the job pleased with it

Really happy with is capo. It is sturdy and locks down easily and really firmly with just one hand. Also easily removed with just one hand. I recommend, I think it's worth the money.

Martin accessories

We all know Studio 1 has just THE best selection of vintage Martin and Gibson guitars outside of the US, but always has the most extensive stick of accessories including the latest strings. Theyre a deep domain supplier of all things I need and also things uber cool! Check out their merch…..Steve

Everyone at Studio 1 is so amazing, they are so understanding and helpful. They helped me find the perfect guitar for me. I wish more dealers in the US were as outstanding as this crew is. And it’s pretty obvious their website is one of the best in the business. Just because you are not in NZ, do not hesitate, they know what they are doing!

I loveit.

Martin Tortoise Shell Pick

Excellent pick! Plays and sounds great.

000-16 StreetMaster

Fantastic sounding guitar, very open, and loud, thanks to the VTS. Super nice neck and the StreetMaster distressed look is not over done. Excellent service from the team at Studio 1 as always!

Simply the best picks

Some people might think it’s mad to spend big dollars on a pick, but honestly, just treat yourself. You’ll never go back to the $1 jobs.

John Pearse light strings

Great strings. Guitar sounds to have more volume.

Absolutely phenomenal mics!

Bought these recently and they have had a tonne of use. Super flat with crystal clear clarity. Ive mic’d guitar cabs, used as drum overheads, stereo acoustic guitar and of course vocals and they are all round great mics. In studio people are very intrigued and ask about them a lot. Live they sound great also, feedback rejection is surprisingly good and have proved sound guys wrong being large diaphragm condensers. Would highly recommend.
