Martin ukuleles in New Zealand

Martin has been building ukuleles since 1916 and tenors since 1929, and the pre-war instruments remain the benchmark the rest of the industry measures itself against. The current models are made in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, to the same shapes.

We stock the T1 tenor in mahogany, the T1 Streetmaster with its ultra-thin weathered finish, the FSC-certified T1, and the C1K concert in solid Hawaiian koa. These are not beginner instruments. They are what a player buys once, having worked out what they want a ukulele to sound like.
