Hollowbody and semi-hollow guitars

The electric guitars that kept an acoustic's body: Gibson's ES thinlines, the carved-top Byrdland, Gretsch's big Country Club and the Chet Atkins models, and the occasional Coronado or T5z. Warmer, more open and more feedback-prone than a solid-body, and for jazz, rockabilly and a great deal of rhythm playing, the right tool.

Vintage examples are described with originality stated, and every guitar is set up before it leaves the shop.
