Here on consignment and available for your aural delight is this first year of production, 1966 Fender Coronado I in Lake Placid Blue. The single DeArmond pickup is warm and throaty and mounted into a hollow body design makes the Coronado a soul machine that could be turned to jazz as well. This is a full hollow body guitar, without a centre block so if you like your controlled feedback, this could be a goer. The bigsby has been retro fitted and feature a nickel saddle which gives the guitar a more metallic voice.
The Lake Placid Blue finish is a quintessential Fender colour that should feature in everyone's collection and here's your chance to own a mid-sixties guitar in great condition. The guitar has the age appropriate finish checking and a minor binding de-lamination that is stable.
