With an all maple body, three piece maple neck and two Gibson super humbucking pickups, the L-6S is a mild oddity in the Gibson range. It looks like someone squished a Les Paul down to the width of an SG. These were in the catalogue from '73 - '80 and feature the 'harmonica' bridge and an interesting set of controls - knobs for vol, midrange and tone, and a 6 way rotary switch for phase and parallel selection. Replacement guard is fitted with the original in the case, original pots and replacement Switchcraft jack. Brass nut is fitted giving it more of a metallic tone. Judging from the fretboard wear, someone has blissed out hard, but it's just had a refret at Binford Luthiery so you're hot to trot. Comes with the original hardshell case.
