Here on consignment is a guitar with a story. Owned by Gemma Thompson, guitarist for British post-punk band Savages and used throughout the bands touring career, it has been played the world over and has never failed in the field. Originally purchased in London the guitar is finished in Blonde (a rarity for a 1964 Jaguar) and has been matched with a Jaguar neck dating to 1972. The guitar was purchased with this body/neck combo and has since had the volume and tone pots replaced with CTS pots with the original capacitors and cloth wiring remaining. The pickups, pick up selector and rhythm circuit are original and the original tremolo arm is included.

The guitar has it's fair share of beautiful wear, which only authenticates the provenance of the instrument. The tone is warm and bold, in keeping with it's age and plays smoothly up and down the neck. Contact us for internal photos or visit the store for a view in person. Comes with an SKB iSeries roadcase.
