Behold. A gorgeous Fender Custom Shop 1964 Stratocaster in a Journeyman relic'd 'target' three tone sunburst finish. The included papers date the guitar to May 2022 and the client we are selling on behalf of hasn't gigged it, it's been a wall hanger.

Not dissimilar to the instrument Bob Dylan played at the fabled Newport Folk Festival on 25 July 1965, this guitar features some exceptional checking in the nitro finish with the "target" sunburst finish ranging from jet black through to a lovely amber yellow. A real vintage eye-catcher, especially when you put on the ashtray bridge cover.

The body is of two piece alder and houses three hand wound fat '64 pick ups in it's mint green pickguard, so rest assured you'll have the full range of vintage strat tones at your disposal. The '63 maple neck is a comfy "C" shape and is topped with a AAA rosewood fingerboard in a 9.5" radius, narrow tall frets and clay dot fret inlays. I would say the relicing here is minimal and tasteful with only a few dings around the body and a few worn edges on the headstock. 

The folks at the Fender Custom Shop really know what they are doing and this guitar is a prime example of their impeccable eye for vintage detail. Original CS case and all case candy included.
