Here on consignment we have a near mint Gibson Explorer from 1980. The Explorer was originally released in 1958 and proved to be just too darn futuristic for the times. Rereleased in the mid '70s after rival companies started having success in the metal scene with similar Explorer designs, this one is a great example with only a few chips on top of the hockey stick headstock. Weighty one piece mahogany body and neck, gold hardware and white pick guard. Comes with original Gibson case.
