Here on consignment is this rare, early 1962 Fender Jaguar, a model that was the jewel in Fender's crown at the time of it's release. This example comes with a rosewood slab fingerboard which was phased out in favour of a veneer board mid 1962. Yes, this is one of the few out there with a slab board, clay dot inlays and flat pick up pole pieces. The guitar is all original aside from a bone nut and refret, that was done here in Auckland by Ramsay Phillips (the original frets and nut are bagged up and supplied). The neck is dated April 1962 and the pots are also dated 1962, photos can be supplied upon request. Fitted with repro Fender saddles, the original set is in the case along with the whammy bar and saddle cover.

Comes with the original brown tolex case and an SKB case for day to day use.
