Here's a Gretsch that you don't see everyday, the Southern Belle. When Chet Atkin's left Gretsch for Gibson he took the name 'Country Gentleman' with him and left Gretsch to figure out what to do with the remaining CG bodies and parts that they had. The answer... take those US made parts and put them together in their (Baldwin owned) Mexican factory and call them something different.

This one is in good shape with a few finish chips around the neck join (which hint at a neck reset), some stable cracks in the neck binding and what looks to be a replacement bone nut. Original Filtertron pickups and gorgeous B-12 Bigsby. The fingerboard measures to 7.25" which is odd for a Gretsch. The deep walnut finish looks amazing with the gold hardware and you can get all the country gentleman tones with the Filtertron pickups,  without the price tag. Comes with original Gretsch hard case.
