Cabernet Red / Orange Flame - Casein has been hailed as the closest possible alternative to traditional tortoiseshell in tone and feel, and Charmed Life's Casein plectrums are sourced from NOS Casein, which is visually spectacular and warmer in tone. They possess the fabled tortoiseshell clarity and depth, making them the ideal plectrum for acoustic and mandolin players.

Black - Aerospace Polymer with similar characteristics to the Brown Vespel material.

Hawksbill Sea Turtle models include a US$10 donation to  the music industry's first sea turtle preservation project, an ongoing program to raise money for the protection of sea turtles and their habitat

The Hawksbill, even though protected by CITES, has been slaughtered and poached to the brink of extinction. Of the seven species of sea turtles existing in the world today, it is by far the most endangered.
