The D-18 features a dreadnought body shape made from solid mahogany back and sides with a spruce top and faux tortoise binding. The guitar has a natural finish and an ebony fingerboard. The neck is made from mahogany with a shape of V shape. The D-18 has a balanced and versatile tone, which makes it suitable for a variety of musical styles, particularly folk, bluegrass, and country. It is a high-quality guitar and considered as one of the classic Martin model.
